The Leadership Fellows Association hosts meetings with leaders to enable fellows to participate across classes in a continuing dialogue with the region's leaders.
While most of these forums are open to members and their guests only, the annual Albert C. Maule Urban Issues
Forum is open to the public. This lecture series was created by the Friends of Albert C. Maule, an LGC Fellow,
after his death in 1995. Albert Maule was the first African American to be named partner at Hopkin & Sutter, served
Mayors Harold Washington, Eugene Sawyer and Richard Daley, was president of the Chicago Police Board, and
Chaired the board of the Abraham Lincoln Center. The lecture series commemorates his contributions by focusing
on topics important to his life.
