Each leader selected for the LGC Fellows Program has an important partner throughout the 10-month process: his or her employer, or sponsor. Thanks to sponsors Fellows have the opportunity to engage with other emerging leaders from throughout the corporate, civic and nonprofit sectors in greater Chicago. LGC benefits sponsors and Fellows alike by expanding Fellows’ abilities to lead in a diverse region and a multicultural workplace. It deepens their knowledge of critical urban issues and links them with an array of civic and business leaders in a diverse leadership network. This strengthens their ability to have an impact both in the civic arena and in their careers.
