This session offers a timely and honest snapshot of Chicago’s current economic landscape within a broader national context and a candid overview of how emerging technology and trends are not only reshaping industries but also charting new courses for workforce development and regional economic growth. We will examine how regional leaders and organizations are proactively adapting to the rapid pace of technological change, creating equitable pathways for workforce growth and resilience, and consider how these advancements are shaping a more inclusive and sustainable economic future for our region.
