2026-27 Leadership Series | Economics: Are We Ready for Tomorrow?
Join us for the second session in our 2026-27 LGC Leadership Series! This in-person session will feature a fireside chat with Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago President and CEO Austan Goolsbee (LGC Fellow since 2007), moderated by Chicago Sun-Times Money Editor Subrina Hudson.
Economic headwinds are mounting and financial regulators are facing increased pressure and challenges to their independence and autonomy. This session will explore the economic forces reshaping the region and nation to examine the impact on Chicago’s economic outlook, workforce development, innovation, and long-term growth. Join us for firsthand insights from a leader at the center of decision-making on monetary policy and an opportunity to tour the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago’s Money Museum.
Due to limited seating and high demand, we kindly ask that you register only if you are certain you can attend. Tickets for this event are exclusively for Fellows.
