A Letter from Our CEO: Together in Fellowship

This week, Leadership Greater Chicago hosted a fellowship gathering for our community and partners to create a space for connection, encouragement, love, restoration and joy.

As CEO of Leadership Greater Chicago, I am reminded of the life-changing experience of my fellowship year. My perspective was challenged, my humanity was deepened, my voice was shaped, and my life was changed through the deep bonds built with my classmates and across the LGC community.

Since this experience, every organization and initiative I have led (big and small) has been through collaboration and activation of Fellows within our community. As a city, region and nation, we are facing profound challenges, but, today, I want our Fellows to be reminded of the power of our community — coming together, leading together, and rebuilding together.

LGC is not just a program, it is a life-changing journey that cultivates a pipeline of courageous and compassionate cross-sector civic leaders who are shaping the course of our future. It is community, it is love, it is family.

As we lead and serve our region, city and communities through these challenging times, please be reminded of the power we hold, the love we share for our great city, and the infinite possibilities that lie ahead.
