LGC Signature Fellows Program | In-Person Information Session with Latino Leaders
In this time where we are facing unprecedented socioeconomic challenges, Leadership Greater Chicago’s mission — to cultivate courageous and connected cross-sector civic leaders who are committed to leading transformative change that will have an enduring impact on the future of communities throughout the Greater Chicago region — has never been more vital. Our future depends on civic leaders who will collaborate across lines of difference to address pressing socioeconomic issues and build a more just, resilient and thriving city and region.
This virtual information session for the LGC Signature Fellows Program is hosted in collaboration with Latino Leaders who are leading change in our region and beyond. All prospective candidates and their sponsors, both new and returning, are welcome to attend. This is an opportunity to hear directly from Fellows about the impact LGC has had in shaping their careers and civic engagement.
Our third information session will be held in-person on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 from 9-10:30am at Barnes & Thornburg. Fellows featured on the panel include:
- MODERATOR JULIO PAZ (LGC Fellow since 2022) – Chief External Affairs Officer at Chicago Commons
- MARTIN MONTES (LGC Fellow since 2020) – Partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP
- ANNA VALENCIA (LGC Fellow since 2018) – Clerk at City of Chicago
Attendees will gain insights into the LGC experience and its benefits and receive tips on the application process for the 2027 Class of the LGC Signature Fellows Program.
