Join us for our fourth LGC Leadership Series session, Addressing Gun Violence as a Public Health Crisis. Speakers and additional details will be announced soon!

As communities grapple with the multifaceted challenge of gun violence, the urgency of adopting an integrated approach that places the well-being of individuals and communities at the forefront has never been more pronounced. Drawing inspiration from the public health strategies that have effectively eradicated diseases, reduced smoking-related fatalities, and minimized traffic accidents, this session invites you to explore the interconnectedness of public policy, community needs, and holistic health practices. Join us as we examine how a public health framework can be applied to gun violence, addressing issues such as firearm access as well as the underlying factors that contribute to violence and those that fortify community resilience. Our guest speakers will provide insights into how these critical issues are evaluated from the national level down to local contexts.

THANK YOU to our generous 2024-2025 Leadership Series Sponsors! Sponsorship includes invitations for 10-12 employees to participate in the series and many more benefits. Interested in sponsorship opportunities? Contact Mijin Park for more information.
