May Leadership Breakfast | Continuing to Build an Inclusive Chicago: What Lies Ahead?
In the final session of our 2018-19 Leadership Breakfast Series, we will reflect on the progress that has been made and look at what lies ahead for Chicago's new mayor through the eyes of three LGC Fellows who have played a critical role in City Hall during the last administration – City of Chicago Commissioner of the Department of Planning and Development, David Reifman (LGC Fellow since 1999), United Airlines Senior Vice President and General Counsel and former Chicago Deputy Mayor Bob Rivkin (LGC Fellow since 1994), and World Business Chicago President and Chief Executive Officer and former Chicago Deputy Mayor Andy Zopp (LGC Fellow since 1990).
Join us to hear firsthand from leaders who have led Chicago’s transformation efforts including: Development of The 78, investments in developing neighborhood grocery stores, the creation of the Neighborhood Opportunity Fund, development of the Obama Presidential Center, attracting business headquarters to Chicago, and the O’Hare International Airport expansion and modernization. Learn more about the importance of investment in communities to build an inclusive city with opportunities for all.
