The Road Up Documentary On-Demand Screening Access and Virtual Discussion
Fellows are invited to join us for an on-demand screening of The Road Up followed by a virtual discussion event. The Road Up is an award-winning documentary film by Greg Jacobs and Jon Siskel that follows four participants in Cara, a Chicago job-training program, as they seek to overcome addiction, incarceration and homelessness and find a pathway out of poverty.
On Wednesday, November 17, join Cara Collective President and CEO Kathleen Caliento (LGC Fellow since 2020) in conversation with one of the film's co-directors, Greg Jacobs. They will lead a discussion of the film from 6:00-7:30 p.m. CT with community partners, including:
